Ms Judith Evans, the outgoing Chair of the SGUL Council was on campus this week where she had the opportunity to meet and talk with faculty and students of the CS, T and P years.  She also visited the Nicosia General Hospital and Aretaieo Hospital,  where P and T year students are assigned for their clinical training.

During a cocktail reception at the Medical Library, Prof Charalambous, Executive Dean, presented Ms Evans with a recognition award for her contribution to international medical education.  In responding, Ms Evans stated her excitement with the partnership between SGUL and the University of Nicosia, and emphasized the centuries old tradition of SGUL in producing excellent physicians.
